I Double-Dog Dare Ya!

So, I'm part of another challenge blog, Double-Dog Dare Ya! It's a fun mix of challenges, with a new challenge posted each Monday. Here's a taste of the challenges so far:

Lemonade...

Well, they say when life hands you lemons...

I made this for the Pub Ad challenge over at Two Peas.

I got this cool ad in the mail a few weeks back and had to send it to Paula for the ad challenge. I used the fortune cookie fortune idea to document a few recent mishaps. I put the dates as the "(un)lucky numbers" on the fortunes. The title is obviously a play on Lemony Snickett's books.

Not a good start

Okay, so we're a week into 2008, and so far...

1. We hit a deer and wrecked our car

2. My computer died

3. I fell on Friday and hurt my ankle

4. I fell on Monday and hurt the same ankle and now my knee, too.

I hope this is not going to be a trend.

I Love a Good Challenge!

Well, I just spent countless hours updating the master schedule of challenges on Two Peas and creating an alphabetical listing of the challenges, complete with descriptions, for newbies.

I love a scrapbooking challenge, and almost all my layouts begin with challenges as a starting point. It's fun to combine them to see what I can come up with. I think the challenges really help me to get started because I have way too much stuff, and having a guideline of what to use gives me a good place to start.
