Here I Go Again...

For the gazillionth time, I'm trying to lose weight. Last night I started Weight Watchers. I've been on that plan countless times over the years--I even became a "lifetime member" the very first time I tried it. I'm hoping this will be the last time.

We were trying to get a group together at work so Weight Watchers would come to us, and we had enough people, but they couldn't get someone to come on the day we needed them to come, so my teammate and I bit the bullet and went to a Weight Watchers center.

I made a layout to commemorate the moment. Jill, a scrapper I know over at Two Peas, recently started a challenge called Word Play. Her third challenge was to give yourself a pep talk. I was originally planning to use a current photo of my fat face, but I decided to go with a picture of me when I was in the midst of losing weight before and feeling really good. I also made this page for the Sketch This! blog. I'm happy that Janelle picked me to be on the team again. I love how versatile her sketches are.

So I've made it through most of my first day and feeling that this is going to be do-able. Well, all except the coffee thing--I like tons of half-and-half in my iced coffee in the morning. I had it with skimmed milk and 2 tablespoons of half-and-half. Just didn't do it for me.

Anyway, here's my page. I forgot to dot my "i" in the title--gotta fix that!

It happened again!

I had another page published--this time in Scrapbook Trends. I thought it was going to be the February issue, but I was surprised again as I was leafing through the January issue and saw my page.

I made this page for a buddy scraplift challenge a while ago, using a page from Molly Peckham as inspiration. I credited her when I submitted my page, but they didn't include it in the comments, so I thought I would mention it here on my blog.

It really is a thrill to see my pages in print!

Here's the issue my page was published in, for the "Stories to Tell" column. The call was for pages featuring numbers:

And here's a peek at my page:
