2Crafty September Shares

It's my turn to share my DT projects over at the 2Crafty Chpboard blog. Here's what I shared this month using the awesome 2Crafty chipboard...

"Two-Face"

This is my nephew at Otakon, at an anime convention.
He went as Harvey Dent (aka Two-Face), from the Batman movie.
I found several 2Crafty products that were just perfect for this page.
2crafty elements pictured below:
Gears
Giant Gears
Film Strips - Medium

The gears are a great accent for a guy page.
I coated mine with pewter and silver embossing powders and
melted them to give them a cool metallic sheen.

Film Strips - Medium

The filmstrips were perfect for this page,
seeing how Shane was dressed as a movie character.
I painted them with black acrylic paint. Instead of gluing them down,
I decided stapling them on would give them a grungy touch.

2crafty elements pictured below:
Chevron bits

The Chevron Bits are a great way
to lead the eye to the subject of your page.
I used a brick red stamp pad to color these.
The Chevron Bits is an awesome product to buy--
there are 46 pieces in a variety of sizes and designs!

"Imagine"

This is my best friend's adorable granddaughter,
Ezra on her first birthday. I wanted this page to have a magical feel,
and I found the perfect 2Crafty bits to do the job!
2crafty elements pictured below:
Flourish Adornment Set 4
ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars

Isn't that Flourish Adornment gorgeous?
I think it has a perfect magical feel.
I used black acrylic paint to coat it.

ATC Words 1
ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars

The ATC Words are so sweet and just right
when you don't want a huge title.
The set comes with 11 words, plus a couple of stars.
Again, I used black Acrylic paint for the title.
For the stars, I painted them black, and while
the paint was still wet, I sprinkled black glitter.

Flourish 2
ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars

I added a lovely Flourish to the other side of the photo and another
glittered star as a flower center.

"The Lesson for Today"

I used CSI Case File No. 137 and Creative Scrappers Sketch #274 for this
page commemorating my first time going to my church.

2crafty elements pictured below:

After I had my page designed, I felt like it was a little plain,
and the clock frame was the perfect thing to give it
personality and interest and also went with the message of my page
(you can read my hidden journaling here).
The Clock Face Frames comes on a sheet with 3 nested clocks
and also some circles and rings,
which makes this a great deal!
Oh, how I love 2Crafty's Loopy font!
So perfect for a striking title!

Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a peek at my pages.
