Tree-less Again {CSI Major Case File No. 243}

Our December 1 Case File is so pretty and festive:

Here's my page. I used all of the Evidence clues except for the solid background and I documented something about Christmas.

Here are some details. I was determined to use that Christmas tree background paper since it matched the Case File colors. It came from an old pad of paper by My Mind's Eye that I got at Michael's years ago. It's got some glitter on it, which goes with one of the clues, as do my title letters and my snowflakes, which are by Jolee's.

Yeah, I know jars don't really go with Christmas, but once I gussied them up with some Christmas-y stickers and some Studio Calico wood veneer stars, I think they worked--one's a stamp by Dear Lizzy and the other is cut from a Dear Lizzy patterned paper. The present sticker is by Simple Stories, as is the clear sticker on the photo. That deer head is also a clear sticker, by Amy Tangerine, which I mounted on white cardstock and cut out. The branch-y punch is by Martha Stewart and the scallop punch is by EK Success.

So here's my story. For those who don't know, Minnie-Cupcake is my little cat who happens to be a thug. She loves to knock things over and chew on anything that looks like a plant, so for the past two years, we haven't put up our Christmas trees. We did find this nifty tin soldier at Home goods who stood guard over our presents. Not quite presents under a tree, but we had to accept the situation. We're still debating about whether we should put up our trees this year.

I found a little fuzzy Christmas tree brad in my stash which met the "something fuzzy" clue.
