Here's the Case File that inspired the page. I went the traditional CSI clues route for this page: Evidence: solid background, stripes, floral pattern, flowers, ribbons, labels, bling, puffy stickers, tissue paper, text print (in place of the book page), gold elements, and vintage elements (in the form of that slide frame). Testimony: Write on a label.
I was stuck for how to begin my page, so I headed over to Paper Issues to see if I could find a sketch, and I found their Sunday Scraplift challenge. I love Anita's layout so, so much, and as you can see, I pretty much scraplifted it literally.
The floral paper is by Crate Paper Maggie Holmes. The typewriter is also from the I Am collection. I really wanted to put that "You are my sunshine" to look like it was coming out of the typewriter, but I just couldn't bring myself to cover up that pretty rose-gold foiled heart.
I hope you'll play along with CSI for a chance to win a prize from or generous sponsors We've got 15 prizes up for grabs this month! And don't forget to check out that scraplift challenge over at Paper Issues. They award gift certificates to their store too!
