Mommy's Loving Boy {Paper Issues Scraplift Sunday Challenge}

Does anybody else buy cute scrappy supplies with no idea of how they'll ever be used? That's how this page came to be, which I created for Paper Issues Scraplift Sunday challenge, where we had to lift the talented Ann Tamimi's page.

Here's Ann's page.

Here are some details. So, last summer I bought this package of adorable puffy, de-bossed animal stickers by Sandylion. I had no specific plans for them, but they were so cute, I put them in my cart. I came across them when I was looking for something else and decided I had to use them for this page. The biggest challenge was finding blues that would go with the colors, so I went to my scraps drawers and paper pads, and this is what I came up with.

Note to self: Un-tilt that E on the frame. Don't you hate it when you realize there's something not right with your layout once you're typing a blog post? I'm too lazy to go re-photograph, but I will straighten that a big.

I've had that mesh stuff in my stash forever! It was I love when I can use some old stuff. The red chipboard letters are by BasicGrey. And there are some hearts I tucked on the page so the little guy can look for them (I'm putting one or more hearts on each page).

I hope you'll come play with us and add your layout to our Facebook group for a chance to win a gift certificate at the Paper Issues store. Speaking of the store, make sure you add my code when shopping, Debbi (no e on the end), and get 20% off your entire purchase!
