In Grandpa's Arms {Paper Issues Kit}

Did you know that Paper Issues has kits in addition to all free cut files and all the other latest and greatest scrappy products? And the best thing is you don't have to commit to a subscription. I used the kit called "She's a Rainbow" plus some odds and ends from my stash to create this layout:

Here's a picture of the kit I used:

Here are some details. I rescued some really old Making Memories chipboard frames--that always makes me happy to use older stash.

Those Paige Evan's Whimsical die cuts are so sweet, aren't they? I also used some old BasicGrey letters. Love that font, and I can always find the right color to match because I think I bought every alpha set they made.

How fun are these Maggie Holmes thread bows? And there's another old MM frame. I still have a bunch. I was going to use enamel dots and then decided to use pearls, which I have a zillion of, to give the page a softer look.

If you have a Paper Issues kit, be sure to play in the You've Got to Be Kittin' Me challenge and add your creation to our Facebook group for a chance to win a gift certificate.

This particular kit sold out, but there are lots of other great kits in the shop, along with lots of awesome new scrappy stuff. Please use my code, Debbi (no e on the end), and you'll get 20% off your entire purchase!
