My Nephew, the Thespian

Last night, I went to see my nephew perform in his drama club's annual play. He's an amazing performer and completely stole the show. He's the gentlest, most polite kid, but he does an awesome--and believable--job of playing a bad-ass. Two years in a row he's played the bad boy of the play. I think he's being typecast. (And I think he loves it!)

I forgot to bring my camera, so I'm waiting on photos from my sister. Here's a page I made of last year's performance. I had fun playing with some grungy elements on this one. I used embossing powder with the corrugated stamp and the Grungeboard skull.


And here's a page I was very happy to make recently. I made it for a challenge when I was guest designing for Scrap for a Cure last month (my challenge was to use scraps from the kit to make a layout):

Hi Debbi! congrats on the goal achievement so far!! :) Thank goodness you aren't being a stranger and visiting me on the ol' blog, we can stay in touch even if I'm not on CCG any more, that's for sure. I gotta tell you I loved loved your WIP layouts, they are terrific!!
