Here's what I created. This photo was taken last summer when they had just broken ground for our new house. I'd been saving the Studio Calico pattern with the houses for this layout. The green paper is also by Studio Calico. The red polka dot paper is Jillibean Soup, and the gray paper is by Crate Paper.
These are some old Prima flowers--the ones that came in a jar. I still have tons of those. The leaves are cut from an old Scenic Route paper. I need to find a stamp that looks like these leaves because my supply of that paper is slowly dwindling.
And here's a close-up of my journaling. The kraft journaling spots are by Maya Road.
Come see all the beautiful and varied takes on this sketch, and I hope you'll play with us. This was a fun sketch to work with!
Thank you for stopping by my blog and reading about my page today!

Hello, Debbi...I love this layout!! The light distressing and black edges really make this an eye catching piece! Beautiful work.
Ooooh can totally relate to your feeling of awe and happiness!! LOVE your take on the sketch and choice of papers, always spot on Debbs! my fave is the little chippie house with the paper peeking throught the window and the pop of red. Can sure understand you saved that paper with houses, it's perfect here! brilliant use of the journalling spots, as Tracee says; they flow beautifully! So you had your house built, didn't know that. Makes your move there an even more special one than moving into a ready bought one I think. Have a fantastic weekend sweetie! xoxox
