A (Baker's) Dozen (Plus One More) Faves from 2012

It's always fun looking back over my layouts from the past year. I didn't make as many this year as in previous years because managing CSI takes a lot of my time, but I did make around 70 pages last year. Here are my favorites, in no particular order...

I love all the textures and that almost everything on here is really, really old--some things are over ten years old. I love the colors against the black.

I liked the idea behind my page and how I flipped the photo for the whole "this or that" notion. I love that ridged cardstock that I unearthed, and I was so proud of myself for finally using the texture paste that's been in my stash for almost a decade.

I love these pictures of my Gram. I like how I clustered everything and how I used the pearls and that I used some really old BasicGrey.

I love my journaling on this page and that it reminds me of my sweet kitty who just died a month ago. 

I'd been wanting to scrap this silly little picture forever. I like how I wrote my journaling like an ad, and I love that I used lots of really old stuff on here.

I love this picture of my mom--she looks just like a happy kid on Christmas. I love that I found the perfect sketch to make my layout look like piles of presents, and I like how I did the stamping/embossing.

I love that I used this ancient Autumn Leaves MOD paper and how it looks so perfectly tropical here. I love how summery and clean this page feels and I love my take on the Creative Scrappers sketch.

Awww...sweet, sweet Maggie-Do. I miss you so. I love my poem I wrote for her and I'm madly in love with these monsters Michele made for the Coordinates!

I just love how happy this page is with the colors and all the happy quotes. I hope this will always make Monica smile when she looks at it and remembers all the happy moments she spent with James before he died.

I like how my page looks almost like a page in a magazine--so clean and graphic, and I love that I used lots of old stuff on here.

I might love this page the most. I like how I altered the photo so Chewy is in color and Shane's in black and white. I love the kraft snowflakes that I made on my new Silhouette Cameo (my first time using it). And I love the painty-texture past circles.

What can I say? Michele's Coordinates absolutely rocked and I had to use them all! I like my design with everything sort of jumping around the page.

I loved my journaling on this one and the funny story and that I managed to match the very difficult colors on the Case File that week!

I included this in my favorites because I loved the idea behind my journaling and I love the crowns and I really like the design of my page.
