Fashion Statement {CSI Case File No. 67}

We have a new Case File open for investigation at CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration, and since it's the second week of the month, we have a brand-new PageDraft from our resident Composite Sketch Artist, Em Stafrace.

Clues I used...Evidence: punctuation embellishments, stars, clouds, plane, fussy-cutting, outlined with pen. Testimony: I used a pun for my title and documented something funny.

Here's my page. If you look closely at the photograph, you'll see my sister is sporting a "I'm a li'l stinker" t-shirt. That's me in the background. You'll definitely want to click on the layout to enlarge it so you can read the story. :D

The papers I used are by Studio Calico (polka dot background and airplane), Bella Blvd. (clouds), SEI (blue and dark brown), October Afternoon (red), Echo Park (yellow hexagons).

Here are some details. You can see that the scribble pattern on the blue paper is metallic. So fun! These brads are by BasicGrey and Sassafras Lass. I used pen to outline many of the papers, and at the last minute I thought it would be fun to outline the brads. The wooden arrows are by Studio Calico.

My title is meant to be a pun and a double meaning, as it seems my sister is shouting a statement of some sort. I used asterisks for the punctuation evidence. The asterisks are by Lawn Fawn, and the other wood pieces are by Studio Calico. That's another BasicGrey brad below.

Some more brads. The blue one is by Sassafras, the red one is Bo Bunny, and the tan one is by BasicGrey.
