#Miss You {CSI Case File No. 94}

I've gotten way off course in posting my CSI layouts. School is kicking my butt this year! Anyway, here's our latest Case File (you still have until Sunday to solve it, even though we're opening a new Case File tonight).

Clues I used: Evidence - cat accent (paw print brad), stacked items, black background, silver metal, wood, something crinkled; Testimony - typewriter font, journal from your pet's persepctive.

So here's my page. I'm not in love with how it turned out. In retrospect, I wish I'd made the picture smaller. This is my sweet girl who just died a couple of weeks ago.

I used lots of old patterned papers for this one. Ki Memories (letters); Chatterbox (orange papers); Creative Imaginations (red ledger); Crate Paper (brown); My Mind's Eye (the stripe).

Here are some details. Not great pictures because it was way too sunny, but I haven't had a chance to retake them. Sigh. That's an old Heidi Swapp chipboard heart and an old Prima flower. That stick pin is by Little Yellow Bicycle.

The wooden letters are by Studio Calico. The metal dots are by Colorbok. The paw brad, by BasicGrey, wasn't exactly the right colors, but I stuck it on anyway.

I made little files and added these tabs that I cut out with my Silhouette Cameo.

My journaling pulls out and reads:  i'm sorry for tearing up the sofa. and i'm sorry for all those times i poked holes in your chillows leaving you to wake up with a wet pillow. Ait's just that i loved sleeping by your head and how you'd put your hand on my belly as you fell asleep. thank you honoring all the freckles on my nose and toes and lips with my silly name. thank you for always filling up my "sushi bar." i don't know why i put my paws up on that bowl like that, but it made me laugh when you called it that. i loved our conversations, where you'd talk, then i'd talk, then you'd talk then i'd talk. and that squeaky button? i did that for your entertainment. i'm sorry i got sick so suddenly and unexpectedly. please don't feel bad. i understand why you sent me to heaven. i miss you so much, and i'll be waiting for you in heaven.

Thanks so much for reading about my page. You need to go check out all the sweet cat pages in our reveal!

Oh that title on the case file is too hilarious. For my cats it would be Ï could rip this up!" as they have so far shredded a quarter of my WRMK album spines :S Good thing I caught them on no. 10 or I would have 40 to replace!! Gorgeous kitty layout & love this colour palette!!!

Hey Debbi, thanks for dropping by and leaving your comment, very much appreciated. Love all those wonderful layers you have created on your page. We lost our old dog 6 days ago, still feeling pretty sad, so can relate totally to your LO and wonderful journalling.
