You & Me: Fabulous {CSI Case File No. 171}

We've got a yummy new Case File open for investigation at CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration:

Here's my page. Clues I used...Evidence all except for the window; Testimony: Document a celebration, inspiration words--celebrate, treat.

Tracee and I scrapped the same photos. We had some idea for a page when we snapped these pictures, and then we couldn't quite remember what we had originally planned, so we used all four of the pictures. We even used the same sketch from PageMaps:

Here are some details. The "you" and "me" are cut files from The Cut Shoppe, who are sponsoring us this month. This is from "This and That" set. I used a white gel pen to outline the letters. My white pens were all clogged, and I was about to toss them. but I found a video on YouTube talking about how you can take apart your pen to fix it, and I was so happy it worked! That cork ampersand is by Teresa Collins. The gold stars are from Heidi Swapp. That little strawberry was added for the food clue. I used molding paste mixed with white paint and a stencil from The Crafter's Workshop in the background.

The "Fabulous" is also from the same set from The Cut Shoppe. That white fringe-y bit is a piece from a pack of Doodleug frills--I've had them FOREVER. Papers I used are Pink Paislee (dark tan), American Crafts (pink triangles and diagonal striped background), My Mind's Eye (polka dot), Teresa Collins (pink stripe).

The gold arrow is from the same Heidi Swapp set as the gold stars. That black banner is by Recollections. The little wooden ladies are by Studio Calico.

The Case File called for chevrons, and I used chevrons in the very background, but you couldn't really tell they were chevrons, so I found this cork circle that had chevrons printed on it, by The Paper Studio (I think this is a Hobby Lobby brand). The check mark is from the same gold Heidi Swapp set I already mentioned, and the #Perfect is MAMBI.

The SMILES stamp is from an Amy Tangerine rotary stamp. The kraft artisan-shaped label is by Maya Road. I glued that little heart on there.

And here's my journaling.

I hope you'll come play for a chance to win some awesome prizes from all our July sponsors:  Carolina Ghelfi Scrapbooking, Creative Embellishments, Funky Flairs Studio, Lawn Fawn, Flying Unicorn, and Scrapbook Fantasies, and The Cut Shoppe.
