How Now, Pink Polka Dot Cow? {CSI Case File No. 182}

We've got a new Case File open for investigation at CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration.

And here's the page I made. Clues I used...Evidence: grid pattern, circles, large dots, white background, use alphabets as a design element, leaves, vines, buttons, book pages, animal, scallop border, wet medium, triangles; Testimony: Inspiration word sweet.

I used this lovely sketch from Paper Camellia to inspire my page design:

Here are some details. The pink triangle paper is by Dear Lizzy. The big polke dot background is a Silhouette cut file. The pink chipboard letters are really old Heidi Swapp letters that I stamped with a Kaiser Craft tiny dots stamp and used black embossing powder. How fun that I was able to find a little cow puffy sticker in my stash to stick inside the O? Those leaves come from an old SEI paper.

The scallop border is an old Doodlebug Frills. Lots of old stuff on this page, which is always a thrill for me! I can thank my good friend Tracee for the pretty doily.

Come check out what the rest of the team and guest designers did with this Case File here.
