But Why? {CSI Case File No. 264}

We've got a new challenge over at CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration. Here's the layout I created:

Here's the Case File. loved the color scheme and the artsy, grunge feel of The Scene, so I tried to mimic that on my page. I used most of the traditional Evidence clues: old BasicGrey solid, check pattern, text print, metal, dog photo, fabric, buttons, puffy stickers, light bulb, distressing, inked edges, and lots of layers. My page design was inspired by a digital template I saw at Designer Digitals.

Here are some dertails. Most everything on my page is fairly old to ancient. The background paper, of course, is old BasicGrey. I added some ink and gesso and then stamped those letters using a Carabelle Studio stamp. The blue "always and forever is an old fabric tab by MAMBI. I can't tell you how many Heidi Swapp chipboard letter packages I have. I bought a ton of them in every color and style back when those were the only chipboard letters you could find--back in the days before Thickers came on the scene. That blue paper is by Sassafras Lass, also ancient. The ticket is an old My Mind's Eye ticket, and that blue label is by Fontwerks. I used to love that company.

I found a BasicGrey brad with a question mark that almost matched the red. Does anyone remember Creative Cafe, by Creative Imaginations? That's who that button is by. I have no idea why I remember these things, LOL!

The transparent light bulb is by Maya Road. The sketchy checker stamp is by Prima.

Check out all the awesome sponsors we have this month. I hope you'll come play for a chance to win one of their prizes!
