Hey, everyone! We're having a Fall Crop that we're calling "Monster Bash" over at Paper Issues! My challenge is called Creature Feature, and here's what I made:
I made this layout for my friend who also is a pastor at my church. She has the CUTEST dogs, especially this one, Buster. She's always posting pictures of Buster on Facebook, and when I saw this one, I knew I had to scrap it. The caption she had written became my title. I thought Pinkfresh Studio's A Case of the Blah's would be perfect for this because of all the funny sayings on the stickers, papers, and diecuts.
Just look at that face! He makes me smile every time.
I decided to add some monsters to my page because 1) I LOVE monsters on scrapbook pages, 2) the title of my challenge, and 3) it's sort of like the monsters took his legs. The black letters are really old Heidi Swapp chipboard letters. I have a pile of them about 2 feet high. They never go out of style, in my opinion.
Here's another monster. I've been trying to use more buttons on my layouts because I have a million of them.
I hope you'll come play in my challenge or one of the many others. There is a $50 gift certificate to the shop up for grabs! While you're at the store, please use my code, Debbi (no e on the end), and you'll get 20% off your entire purchase!
Here are the rules for the crop:

That layout is super cute, Debbi. I love all the pre-printed expressions sprinkled throughout the page. They seem to reflect exactly what Buster is thinking. It made me smile. You always find a way to make little monsters and critters fit right in. So neat. It's becoming your signature. Love it. TFS.
