I'm up on the
Bramble Fox blog today. Here's my post:
Hey, everyone! Today I'm sharing a sweet layout using a bunch of goodies from the Bramble Fox shop, including Fox Cut stencils, Fox Dies, Paper Snips, and Perspextives. Please note that I scrap 8 x 8, so the products always look a bit larger on my layouts, but for me, the Bramble Fox products are always just the right size!
The coral colored
Summer Florals were a perfect match for this darling photo of my friend's granddaughter, so that was my starting point. When I looked for papers to coordinate, I found a Paper Lane paper pad that was just perfect. And I just happened to have some matching heart Perspextives in my stash, which I had to use since I always include hearts on the pages I give away.
I started my page by cutting strips from various patterns in the paper pad, and before adhering them, I used the Brick Wall Fox Cut Stencil #49, which is fast becoming one of my favorite stencils, to add interest to my background! I used two different colors of ink to try to match the papers, by blending them together on an acrylic block and then applying them through the stencil with a blending brush. The filmstrip was made with
Fox Dies #14 and is such a cool way to add another interesting layer.
The title Perspextive is from the
Bloomin' Lovely pack, which has three gorgeous cursive titles that say bloomin', lovely, and sunshine, perfect to use together or for multiple layouts.
The flowers, phrase labels, and colorful word strips were fussy cut from the
Butterflies & Blooms Paper Snips 027. The black word strips were snipped from the very first set of Paper Snips Bramble Fox made--
General Papers Snips 001, and are perfect to have on hand because the phrases are so versatile for any layout.
Finally, I fussy cut some butterflies from one of the Paper Lane papers, lifted up their wings with pop dots and added dashed trails using the
Butterfly Trails Fox Cut Stencil #67 and the small
Blending Brushes, which are essential for detailed stencil work like this.
I hope I've given you some inspiration for all these beautiful Bramble Fox products, and please share what you create by tagging us on
Instagram and adding your creations to our
Bramble Fox Friends Facebook Group. We love to see what you make with our products!
Until next time, have fun scrapping!
