Gingerbread*ol*ogy {CSI Case File No. 103}

Just posting my closeups for Case File No. 103.

Here's my layout, which I had doubled up with the Page Drafts Christmas Release. That's little Ezra in her not-yet-finished gingerbread outfit, but she looked so cute in these pictures, I had to go ahead and scrap them.

Clues I used: Evidence: bird, stars, circles, distressing, paint, metal, twigs/greenery, transparent accents (vellum); Testimony:  ___*ol*ogy, journal about a winter holiday.

For some reason, these colors didn't want to photograph correctly, but anyway, here are some details.

My journaling, across the top, in the gray of the palette, reads: {gingerbread*ol*ogy}...The art and science of looking cookie-cute. This special cuteness is achieved by dressing in the most adorable gingerbread outfit made by Aunt LuAnn, having rosy cheeks and nose, and the best smile ever!

The ornaments were cut on my Silhouette Cameo, and I jazzed them up with glitter and pearls.

I used texture paste mixed with white paint and a stencil for the stars and then sprinkled diamond glitter over them. The stars are really sparkly, but it doesn't show up well in the pictures.  Love the twiggy branches, which are a Martha Stewart punch. The peppermint candy circles are from an old BasicGrey paper (Figgy Pudding collection).

Love these tiny glittery letter stickers, which also don't photograph well, but they're really cute, by Making Memories.

Since we took a week off for Christmas vacation, I extended the deadline on this Case File, so come play with us, if you haven't had a chance to solve this one--a perfect opportunity to scrap some Christmas pictures!
