Take a look at this fantastic mood board:
Here is the page I created. I made another page for my mom's book. For those who don't know, my stepdad died the day after Christmas. I'm writing the journaling as if Ed were speaking to her and tucking those stories into an envelope adhered to the back of each layout.
Here's how I interpreted this challenge. The title obviously came from the image, and the multicolored title inspired me to use different colors in my title. The colors were inspired by the mood board. The balloon image inspired several elements on my page: the gold-glittered frames mimic the gold-dipped balloons, and the paper at the bottom reminded me of balloon strings. The doily came from the image with the packages, as did the ribbon on the frame. I used the bows on the shoes to inspire the use of the wood button. The icing on the sweets led me to use mist in the background. I found a yellow paper that reminded me of the paper in the gift picture.
These wonderful Polaroid Assortment Frames were the basis of my page design. I painted them with acrylic paint and then brushed glue and sprinkled gold glitter over part of them, to mimic the balloons in the mood board.
This little cluster was inspired by the foliage at the top of the Moodboard. That fluffy flower is by Martha Stewart. The yellow bloom is by Prima, and the button is Dear Lizzy.
I cut apart a chunky chevron from the Chevron Bits to make three chevrons.
As I said, there are prizes galore to be won during this wonderful celebration, so I hope you'll play. And be sure to check out the awesome pages by the 2Crafty designers.

As Lizzy says, your mum is going keep this album close to her heart. Just like the album for Michele, this one is created with the love that only you have. It fills hearts and minds, warms when there is no warmth to be found and gives hope and happiness when life is difficult. This is BEAUTIFUL Debbi!! xoxoxo
