Greetings, 2Crafty Fans! Today I share with you my final post as a member of the 2Crafty design team. I've been a part of this team of amazing crafters for two years, and life has gotten very busy for me this year, so I thought I'd pass my spot on to someone new. It's been a wonderful ride, and I thank Vanessa for the opportunity to create layouts with her beautiful chipboard.
"2Crafty"
I've got an album I call "Pursuit of Scrappiness," and this is a page I created to document my time on the 2Crafty design team.
I've been waiting for the perfect opportunity to use this piece from the "Vintage Hot Air Balloons" pack, which comes with three different sizes. I painted the balloon with green and purple Twinkling H2O's to match the 2Crafty blog colors. I decorated this lovely piece some rhinestones and pearls and added some flowers. I used leaves from the "11" Viney Page Frame." I added a swirly bit from "Leafy Shrub Set 1" that I had left over from another page. I coated these leaves with a black brush marker
The arrow show above is from the "Crazy Arrows" set, which is also painted with the purple Twinkling H2O's. I was able to get this lovely shimmery color by painting directly onto the raw chipboard. The word "journey" is from the "Mini Travel Word Set 1."
This cloud came in the "Weather Bits" pack, which has an assortment of elements. I coated it with texture paste mixed with white acrylic paint to give it a puffy look. The chipboard butterflies on my page are from "Sharon's Butterflies." This sheet comes with 8 butterflies in assorted sizes. The letters spelling out 2Crafty are from the "Alpha Set 1," and I used the black brush marker to color these.
I used a frame from "Polaroid Assortment Frames" to add another layer beneath my photo and covered it with patterned paper.

"Believe"
This is my best friend's granddaughter with Santa last year. 2Crafty has so many lovely Christmas pieces, and I found a few that were perfect for the vintage feel I wanted for my page.
I coated this "Mini Reindeer" with gold embossing powder to give a sparkly bit of magic. I tucked a lovely border form the "Lacy Border Set 1" behind a layer at the top and coated it with a shimmery white/gold embossing powder.
This circle, which I coated with the same white/gold embossing powder, is actually a piece separating the clocks in the "6" Clock Face Frames." Always save those leftover bits and negative pieces because you never know when they might just come in handy. The word "Believe," also coated in gold Zing embossing powder" is from the "Christmas Mini Word Set 2."
How gorgeous is this "Holly Flourish" as the star of the page? I painted it with Twinkling H2O's for a shimmer and then colored the berries with a red brush pen.

Farewell and a very Merry Christmas to everyone!

I'm sure they'll miss having you on the team as well. You always found ways to showcase their chipboard pieces on many of your layouts.
Lovely colours on the first layout. They work really well with that pretty black & white photo of you. I love how you added the pearls to the hot air balloon, and how you gave dimension to the cloud. Beautiful work.
The second layout really has that vintage Christmas feel to it. I love the old fashioned Santa image. The photo is really sweet. Great job on that page as well. ♥
