Wild Child {Paper Issues On the Edge! Challenge}

I made another page for one of the many fun July challenges at Paper Issues. This challenge is called On the Edge! The center of your project is lava!! Stay off it! Use any or all edge(s) of your paper for this project.

Here are some details. I used Crate Paper's Cool Kid collection, mainly the 6 x 6 pad and the ephemera, along with a few odds and ends from my stash. That dinosaur was just perfect for the picture of my nephew shouting, but it was a transparent piece, and I didn't like the way it looked overlapping the patterned paper and photo, so I traced it onto white cardstock and stapled it and added a googly eye.

The title piece is from the ephemera pack, and I fussy cut the dinosaur from a patterned paper, again adding a googly eye for some added playfulness.

The chipboard "feeling good" is by Heidi Swapp. I thought I needed a little something in that open space, so I used a Tim Holtz stencil and added some texture paste.

I hope you'll play along. Be sure to post your creation by August 5 in the Paper Issues Friends & Fans Facebook page for a chance to win a gift certificate to the Paper Issues store.

And speaking of the Paper Issues store, check out all of their cool new stuff, and if you use my code, Debbi (no e on the end), you can get 20% off your entire order!
