Merry and Bright {Paper Issues Scraplift Sunday Challenge}

I love the Scraplift Sunday challenge over at Paper Issues. Here's what I made this weekend:

And here's the page we were scraplifting--a page by me!

And some details. My layout started with a sheet of Pebbles merry Merry paper that has a bunch of cut-apart cards. I cut out the floral elements and the words. The film strip is a free cut file from Paper Issues called Life in Pictures.

The "Merry" in the title is also from a Paper Issues free cut file called Starry Winter Nights. How fun are those elf shoes? I picked them up at Michael's last month. I had some trapped white space and decided to add that label with a puffy heart.

I couldn't resist putting that Santa hat on top of the picture. I got those from Michael's too.

I've had this string of lights in my stash for years. I don't think it was meant for scrapbooking. I was happy to finally use some of it.

I hope you'll come play with us. You still have nearly a week, until February 3, to add your layout to the PI Friends and Fans Facebook page, for a chance to win a gift certificate to the Paper Issues store.

Whatever page you can imagine, you can find a free cut file in the Paper Issues Store! Go check them out, and while you're there, check out all the cool new stuff in the store. Use my code Debbi (no e on the end) for 20% off your entire purchase.
