This Is Us | Paper Issues 30 Days of Sketches - Sketch 22

As I said in my last post, I finally finished all 30 sketches! However, I'm really behind on posting them, so I'll do some quick blog posts. Here's my page for Sketch 22:

The sketch, which I pretty much followed, even though it looks a little different because that title is ginormous on my 8 x 8 page.

Here are a few closeups.  I'm the worst kit hoarder, so I made a decision to try to use kits on as many of these sketch layouts as I could. I used Paper Issues' January 2019 "She's a Rainbow" kit.

Loved that little pencil and I thought it looked cute with the thread bow. I was hoping it looked like the title was handwritten with that pencil. I dragged out an old border punch on this one.

Some puffy stickers and a foam butterfly from the same pack as the title.

Did you know that Paper Issues has kits? They actually have two each month, a large one, and a small sort of sampler kit called a swag bag. They sell out fast, but it's cool that you don't have to subscribe. Whenever you shop at Paper Issues, please use my discount code Debbi (no e on the end) and you'll get 20% off of everything in the store, including kits, every single day!

Sweet Hot Cocoa Face {Paper Issues You've Got to Be Kittin' Me Challenge}

I had a snow day on Thursday and got to make another scrapbook layout, this one for Paper Issues' You've Got to Be Kittin' Me challenge:

I'm making pages for my friend featuring her sweet daughter. I'm taking the pictures, and in this case, the captions, from her Facebook page.

Did you know that in addition to all the fabulous new scrappy products, Paper Issues also sells kits? I created this page with the November Kit called Family Traditions. Here's a peek at this kit. As you can see, it's just chock-full of beautiful product! You can read about all of the kit contents here.

Here are some details. How awesome is that coffee cup? It's from a free Paper Issues cut file called Pumpkin Spice.

I added a little stitching here and there on my page for some extra texture.

The "hot cocoa" in the title is also a free cut file called Winter Sweater Weather Words.

You take a look at the kits still in stock and all the awesome new stuff. Use my code, Debbi (no e on the end), and receive 20% off your ENTIRE purchase!
