As a teacher, I have to admit to doing the happy dance, even though we'd already used up our snow days. Two more snow days from this monster storm that dumped almost 30 inches of sparkly white stuff in my yard.
Now they're calling for another 12 - 20 inches tonight into tomorrow! They've called off school for the rest of the week. I'm going to bury myself in my scrap room for the next few days and play, play, play. Nothing like two winter breaks in one year!
I don't know if I'll be doing a happy dance when we're still going to school in July!

debbie , i was hoping my kids would have another snow day. They dont have another day off school till spring break:( we have already had 2 snow days this year, we probably wont get anymore snow ... the snow is beautful, sorry there is so much of it! Maybe you can get in lots of scrappy time!
I am a teacher in Australia and I wish we could "heatwave" days... We could really do with some now!!!I am wondering if you need to make up those lost days or not???
Hi, Gigga, I couldn't find a way to leave you a reply to your question, so maybe you'll see it here. My school system builds 4 extra days into the school year, and if we go over those days, we have to make them up. Ugh. It sort of makes me mad because many, many years we don't use those 4 extra days and they don't give those back, so over the long run, we work many extra days.
A heatwave day would be nice for you!

Wow! That is a lot of snow - so opposite to winter in my little corner of the world. I'm glad you are getting your snow days - you spending snow days playing with your scrap stuff means more eye candy for your fans to enjoy! :)
