Perfect Tree | CSI Case File No. 340

I had lots of fun making this layout for CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration

Here are the Case File and clues that inspired this page:

Besides the color scheme, I used lots of the Evidence clues: plaid, wood, Christmas/Winter-themed elements, ribbon, something fuzzy, glitter, frames, stamps, chalkboard elements, snowflakes, cursive font, puffy sticker.

Here are some details. I started out with the plaid from Photoplays Kringle and Company and the wood paper at the bottom. I tucked in some greenery (whitery) from some Tim Holtz dies. My title uses some really old chipboard letters that I'm trying to use up. They're so big for my 8 x 8 pages. I painted them green. And I used the red glittery letters, which are also old, by Pink Paislee, for the glitter clue. How fun is that chipboard truck? I added a black puffy heart for the puffy sticker clue and also because I always add hearts to the pages I give away.

I found a die cut with a chalkboard look that was perfect for my page and met one of the clues.

That awesome string of fairy lights is a die by Bramble Fox. The stamped stars (red) are old Bo Bunny Stamps, and I stamped the wonky snowflakes (black) from Bramble Fox's Fox Stamps #2.

I cut that tree out of a Photoplay paper and added a fuzzy green brad and a glittery red brad for two more clues, and you can also see that I added a frame for an additional clue.
