Here is the page I made. I made it for a friend. I thought the photo matched the colors perfectly! The sun was super bright when I photographed it, so the colors look a little washed out.
Clues I used...Evidence: damask pattern, polka dots, stripes, heart, bird, metal, swirls, borders, frames, flowers, lace, doily; Testimony: heart shaped journaling spot
I used this sketch from Stuck?! Sketches:
Here are some details. The background paper I used is by Echo Park (kind of old--Be Mine collection). I've got some old Scenic Route paper (the sky blue), My Mind's eye (light pink), and Webster's Pages (teal poka dot). The purple polka dot is also really old Echo Park (Summer Days collection).
The chipboard filmstrips are by 2Crafty. I treated them with some chunky Stampendous embossing powder that has flecks of pink and gold glitter. The chipboard letters are by American Crafts. I printed and cut the heart out on my Silhouette Cameo. The flowers are from some bunches of flowers I got at Michael's and pulled off the stems. The rhinestone brads are really old, by Creating Keepsakes. I colored the Studio Calico wood veneer tweets with stamp ink, and then drew some tail feathers and put a little rhinestone for the eye.
The leaves are Martha Stewart punches. I found some rhinestone swirls in my stash--I have so many of those, and I was happy to be able to add some to meet one of the Case File clues. I also rescued some heart-shaped lace from my stash for two Case File clues. The brackets are the same Thickers as the title letters.
