Here's the Case File. Clues I used: Evidence - polka dots, text print, animals, leaves, twine, banner, google eyes, book plate, enamel dots; Testimony - Tuck your story behind something.
Tracee and I both used the same photo and also the same sketch. We were trying to take a picture with this giant dinosaur behind us using my selfie stick, and as you can see, I wasn't quite successful. This picture CRACKS me up the way Tracee is standing there all posed and there I am struggling with that dang selfie stick! My journaling on the tag reads. Yes, it's definitely an epic selfie fail. But I blame Tracee. She was in charge of the remote control.
Here's the sketch we used from Paper Issues:
The Epic Fail is a free cut file from Paper Issues. I thought it would be fun to add googly eyes to the letters. The "Selfie" and frame chipboard pieces are by 2Crafty. The camera was cut from a paper by Amy Tan, I believe, and the banner is a stamp by My Mind's Eye (Cut & Paste). I have to say, I made myself laugh with the phrase stickers I found for this layout.
How fun that I was able to find that "nice Try sticker in my stash! Ha-ha! I was happy to dust off a book plate for this layout. I've got so many--I had to buy them in every color imaginable back when they were trendy. The puffy sticker camera is from Shimelle's Little by Little collection, and how fun that I could cut that little monster off of the Night Light Louie brand strip. The label is by Fontwerks.
I hope you'll come play with us for a chance to win a prize from one of our awesome sponsors, including a $30.00 gift certificate to an online store of your choice and many wonderful prize packs and gift certificates.

Debbi, your story about the epic selfie fail is too funny....especially the WAY you told it! I admire you for sharing your "boo-boos"! Love all your layering and those cute little googly eyes. I had a wonderful time doing my LO from this challenge, too!
I have not a single clue how a selfie sticks works. How fun that you and Tracee are able to laugh at yourselves and create cute pages out of your "selfie fails".
You're right, you DO love those little monsters, don't you. They always seem to make an appearance somewhere or other. They're so cute though. I can see why you love using them so much.
I wish I had saved the file for those leaves. Great job with the colour combination. An all around fun layout. TFS. ☺
