Boo | Bramble Fox

Hey, Bramble Fox friends! Today I have a fun Halloween layout to share with you, featuring the awesome Pumpkin Stack Perspextives, along with several other Bramble Fox products. (Please note that since I scrap 8 x 8, the products look a bit larger on my layouts.)

I used Spooky collection by Pebbles to complement the Bramble Fox products I used. I started out by adding some bricks to my white background using Fox Cut Stencil #49 |Bricks along with Tim Holtz distress ink and a blending brush. I splattered some orange and black paint, and then started building my page. I tore paper for the top and bottom to give the page some interest and texture, and I tucked a spider web behind the top layers using the Pumpkin Cut File (which has a beautiful pumpkin as well as this fun spider web). And seriously, how fun is that Pumpkin Stack? It's a translucent orange, but I backed it with black cardstock to show of the detailing in the carved faces. The etched details on these pieces are just amazing--just look at that curly vine on the bottom pumpkin! The phrases stuck at the bottom of the pumpkin came from the Paper Snips 012 | Halloween, and the phrases tucked behind my photo are also from that sheet.

How cute is this black cat? It's also included in the Pumpkin Stack set. He's got the perfect mischievous face, with just a little spooky vibe, created by the fabulous etching!

Also included in the Pumpkin Stack is this adorable cat sitting inside a pumpkin, so even though I used all three pieces on one layout, you could also use this pack for three separate layouts! The Boo to You banner is from the Paper Snips 012 | Halloween.

Here's another view of the cool spider web cut file. A layer of pom-pom trim added more texture and a bit of whimsy to the top of my page. And I found these cool pumpkin embellishments in my stash. The die cuts and bat puffy stickers are from the Spooky collection.

And what little girl doesn't like a little bling? I adorned the Halloween bag die-cut with some rhinestone trim that's been in my stash for eons, and added a platinum silver heart Perspextive from the Hearts Special Edition pack because I always like to add a heart to the pages I give away.

Beaming | Paper Issues 30 Days of Sketches - Day 13

I'm on a roll with Paper Issues 30 Days of Sketches. I don't know if I'll make the deadline because I don't have time to scrap every day, but I plan to make a layout for each of the sketches. Here's my page for Day 13:

Here is the sketch. I followed it pretty closely except I crowded my frames together.

Here are some details. I cannot get enough of that cute little face of my friend's baby! I used Pebbles Peek-a-Boo You collection for this layout. I fussy cut the animals from some of the papers. The white striped paper is from my stash. I think I got it at Michael's. I was lucky (pun intended) to find that brad that matched the color of the letters and the elephant.

The black and white leaves are stamped images that I fussy cut. The die-cut leaves are by Simply Graphic, a French company. I had ordered some things from France when my husband went to visit his brother who lives in Paris last summer. I added Nuvo Drops. Love those things so much!

The frames were fussy cut from a paper by Studio 40, a Polish scrapbooking company. I ordered those papers from a French shop last summer too.

Good Stuff | Bramble Fox

I have 29 students, and I'm making a layout as a gift for each of them. Here's one of my recent ones, which I made for Bramble Fox.

I got my layout design idea from the Pebble's blog. One of their designers had a sunburst at the top and some of the die cuts along the middle. I made the design my own with the clouds and hot-air balloon and title at the top and a subtitle at the bottom.

I used the fantastic "Good Stuff" title Perspextive from the March Fox Box, along with a fun sun that was also in the Fox Box, a heart, and some stars. I always buy paper with clouds because they're perfect for fussy-cutting and using as embellishments. I added Stickles to the edges.

I thought the Big Top Dreams collection by  Pebbles would be fun for a page for this boy in my class.

How awesome is the navy color of the title Perspextive? I layered a heart Perspextive on top of the sun. I always add a heart to each of my students' pages.

Nom Nom Nom | Bramble Fox

It was my turn to make a layout for Bramble Fox and share on Instagram the other day.

Here are some details. My husband and I have this ritual we call the Alphabet Adventure, where we go out for lunch after church, following the alphabet. One week, we go to a restaurant that starts with the letter A, the next week, the letter B, and so on. We've been through the alphabet 4 times and discovered so many fantastic restaurants in our city is quite a food mecca. When I received this fabulous Nom Nom Nom piece in my February DT package, I thought it would be fun to document one of our favorite spots. I decided to go with a black background to really make the Perspextives stand out.

Seriously, how fun is the tiny cutlery that comes with this set? I used Pebbles' This Is Family collection on my page. I just love the speech bubbles that I cut out of one of the papers. The phrases on the strips are from a stamp set I got from Citrus Twist a while back. I absolutely love the "get in my belly! stamp, and I use it every chance I get!

I had my layout all complete and my friend Tracee suggested a little restaurant sign or something in this corner, and it was the perfect finishing touch. I used some dies and twine to make the sign.

Love You | Bramble Fox

It was my turn to make a layout for Bramble Fox to share on their Instagram the other day. I used Perspextives from the February Fox Box.

Here are some details. I love the bold red Perspextives. The "love" title piece was actually in the November Fox Box. There are so many goodies in the Fox Boxes that I always have leftovers for more layouts later. I used some old BasicGrey letters to complete the title.

How sweet are these little pieces? If you didn't get a chance to score the February Fox box, you can still get these Tokens of Love, and they come in different colors too!

How wonderful is that frame? It also came in the February Fox Box. I used the Loves Me collection by Pebbles for my page. I fussy cut all those flowers from one of the papers.

Tractor--I Mean Tree--Shopping | Paper Issues Take 5 Challenge

Paper Issues has so many fun challenges, and a super-fun and easy challenges is called Take 5, where you get a list of items to include on your page, and you choose 5 (or more) things. I played this month and made this page:

Here is the list. I chose hearts, stars (asterisks), plaid, gold, stitching, and stickers.

Here are some details. The plaid paper is from Photoplay's Kringle & Co. I stitched it down (plaid and stitching were two of the items). The stickers have gold foiling (gold was another of the items I used). I added a heart to the tree (another item from the list).

Stickers were another item, and I used lots--regular stickers (the Christmas ones are from Pebbles Merry Little Christmas collection), alphabet stickers, and puffy stickers, by Elle's Studio.

And I used a couple of asterisks, which are stars, on my layout.

Christmas Joy | Paper Issues Scraplift Sunday

It's my turn on the Paper Issues blog today. Here's my post:

It's Sunday, and you know what that means! We have an awesome layout for you to scraplift, and here's what I made:

I was thrilled to be chosen to lift Mary-Ann's amazing page:

I was enamored with that circle and even though I have that paper, I scrap 8 x 8, and I wasn't sure it would work. Plus I had the idea of creating a Christmas ornament, and the brown wouldn't go with the Pebbles Merry Little Christmas collection I wanted to use. So I looked online and found a geneaology fan chart that I could download for free and printed it on white cardstock. I had to fiddle with it to get it right, adding circles over the image so I could cut them with my scissors easily.

I pretty much replicated Mary-Ann's layout because it was just perfect the way she made it. The beautiful script "Christmas" in the title is from the Paper Issues Free Cut File called Pines & Needles.

I loved Mary-Ann's tags and the loopy twine. Being a scrapper for almost 20 years means I have lots of stash, and I dug through my stash looking for tags that would match the colors and adorned them with stickers from the Merry Little Christmas collection.

I added a gold rectangle, some foliage, and some old ribbon from my stash to the top to make the circle look like an ornament.

Mwah! {Bramble Fox + CSI Case File No. 273}

I'm so excited to be sharing my first layout as a member of the Bramble Fox design team! Their Perspextives are divine and so fun to work with! These darling cherub Perspextives are in the February Fox Box, which is an embellishment kit that contains exclusive products. The cherubs are the exclusives this month.

I created this layout with the second February Case File at CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration. I used these traditional clues: Evidence - distressed solid pattern, wreath, hearts, valentine-themed elements, metal. I used general colors of a lighter and darker pink, a green, a gray, and a white.

Here are some details. The cut file is from the Silhouette Store. I used the Pebbles We Go Together paper pad from a few years ago to back the cut file. The flowers were fussy cut from an Echo Park Fashionista paper.
