Nom Nom Nom | Bramble Fox

It was my turn to make a layout for Bramble Fox and share on Instagram the other day.

Here are some details. My husband and I have this ritual we call the Alphabet Adventure, where we go out for lunch after church, following the alphabet. One week, we go to a restaurant that starts with the letter A, the next week, the letter B, and so on. We've been through the alphabet 4 times and discovered so many fantastic restaurants in our city is quite a food mecca. When I received this fabulous Nom Nom Nom piece in my February DT package, I thought it would be fun to document one of our favorite spots. I decided to go with a black background to really make the Perspextives stand out.

Seriously, how fun is the tiny cutlery that comes with this set? I used Pebbles' This Is Family collection on my page. I just love the speech bubbles that I cut out of one of the papers. The phrases on the strips are from a stamp set I got from Citrus Twist a while back. I absolutely love the "get in my belly! stamp, and I use it every chance I get!

I had my layout all complete and my friend Tracee suggested a little restaurant sign or something in this corner, and it was the perfect finishing touch. I used some dies and twine to make the sign.

Love You | Bramble Fox

It was my turn to make a layout for Bramble Fox to share on their Instagram the other day. I used Perspextives from the February Fox Box.

Here are some details. I love the bold red Perspextives. The "love" title piece was actually in the November Fox Box. There are so many goodies in the Fox Boxes that I always have leftovers for more layouts later. I used some old BasicGrey letters to complete the title.

How sweet are these little pieces? If you didn't get a chance to score the February Fox box, you can still get these Tokens of Love, and they come in different colors too!

How wonderful is that frame? It also came in the February Fox Box. I used the Loves Me collection by Pebbles for my page. I fussy cut all those flowers from one of the papers.

Sweet Kitty | Bramble Fox DT work

I'm up on the Bramble Fox blog today. Here's my post:

Hey, everyone! I'm here to share a layout I created with Perspextives from the February Fox Box, which was just chock-full of delightful elements to celebrate Valentine's Day or anything you love, plus a few more items. I had some photos of my cat when we first got her. She was a wee little kitty and loved exploring every little nook and cranny of my scrapbook room. These pictures of her near the jar of red and pink ribbons seemed perfect for this month's box of goodies. Note that I scrap 8 x 8, so the Perspextives always appear larger on my layouts.

That translucent pink jar from the Fox Box was the perfect accent. I tied some twine around the neck of the jar, added an xo from the Fox Box and placed some puffy heart stickers to appear as if they were floating out of the jar.

I wanted to use a cut-file for this page, but I couldn't quite find one that conveyed the message I wanted, so I made my own, backed it with different Valentine's Day-themed patterns, and added some red heart Perspextives to the O's.

If you didn't get a chance to score a February Fox Box, don't despair, the Perspextives I used on this page are available in the store as a set called Tokens of Love. But I highly encourage you to subscribe to the Fox Box because in addition to getting several packs of Perspextives, you get an extra that's exclusive design only available in the Fox Box. PLUS, subscribers receive 15% discount on any other products. You will receive sneak peek of the box and other new products before the launch.

I hope I've given you some ideas for using the sweet Tokens of Love.

CSI: Scrappers Gonna Scrap | Bramble Fox + CSI

I'm up on the Bramble Fox blog today with this layout:

When I saw the title piece from the Craft Happy set in my Bramble Fox box last month, I knew I wanted to use it for Case File No. 307 for CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration, since we're celebrating our 8th birthday this month. Here are the Case File and clues:

I was in love with that badger and all of the drawings by Rebecca Jones, so I decided I'd use them on my layout to commemorate the 8th birthday and the whole detective theme of CSI, so I used a lot of the clue, which were drawn from the Scene.

How awesome is that Bramble Fox title piece? I just love how they use different fonts in their titles. I cut the inside out of that little magnifying glass the badger is holding and added vellum in place of where the glass would be.

For the life of me, I couldn't get that vellum for the inside of the magnifying glass cut file to lay flat. when I posted it in the design team page, Nina Straume said she liked my partially hidden journaling. I hadn't planned it to be like that, but in retrospect, I think it's kind of cool that it's partially obscured--kinda adds to the "mystery" theme. I love happy accidents like that! That little star is a Bramble Fox Perspextive too.

I added my photo to the CSI preview image and layered up some papers and other elements and added the current Case File number.

I have a die cut that has a whole bunch of elements inside of the spiral notebook die, one of which is the little chevron arrows. They were sitting on my desk, and that made me think of the Bramble Fox Arrows V2 set that I had and I glued the red die-cut arrows on top of the white Perspextives.

This layout is going in my album I call "The Pursuit of Scrappiness." This Bramble Fox Perspextive is the perfect piece for documenting this wonderful hobby of ours!

If you haven't ever used Perspextives, they're so much fun to work with. The Fox Box is an awesome way to try them out. You get a couple of sets, plus some exclusives, and by subscribing, you get a 15% discount on other orders.

Favorite Photograph | Bramble Fox

It's my turn on the Bramble Fox Instagram today. I created this layout with an awesome silver Perspextive title from the January Fox Box, as well as some sweet little heart Perspextives.

The Fox Box is a perfect way to get a variety of Perspextives. I highly recommend subscribing. Plus you get a couple of exclusive items. Subscribing also gives you a 15% discount on other items in the shop!

Here are some details. The cut file I used is by The Cut Shoppe. I used a Vicki Boutin mixed media paper for the background. The rest of the elements are from Cocoa Vanilla's Unforgettable collection.

I love the heart Perspextives. They are always a perfect touch when you need a little something.

I hope you'll consider subscribing to the Fox Box. You won't regret it!

Ho Ho Ho | Bramble Fox + CSI

It's my turn over at the Bramble Fox Instagram page, and I used the fabulous sparkly HoHoHo Perspextive to create this page, which I also combined with our current challenge over at CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration to create a page for my friend using this adorable photo of her sweet kids:

Here are the Case File and clues for the CSI challenge. I used a lot of the traditional clues: stripes, plaid, text pattern, Christmas elements, frames, metal, cup, snowflakes, food, something fuzzy, fringe, ribbons, wood, trim, die cuts with printed text, and a tag. For the Testimony, I documented a Christmas moment. And I used the Basic color scheme.

Here are some details. I used Fancy Pants Home for Christmas collection, along with some odds and ends from my stash. I also used some Bramble Fox Hearts. I made my own fringed border using some scissors I bought for cutting herbs. I added some stars to my background with a stencil and some texture paste.

How awesome is that sparkly Perspextive title? I tucked some old sparkly brads and a fuzzy one too in with the Fancy Pants die cuts. And I always love the opportunity to use some of my old fancy fibers I have from when they were all the rage.

Don't you love all the cute gnomes that are in so many of the winter collections this year? I added a fun sparkly bow that I recently bought at Hobby Lobby. It matched the sparkly Perspextive perfectly.

I found some more sparkly stuff in my stash. That green tree is super old, by Making Memories, and the sparkly poinsettias were another item I scored at Hobby Lobby.

I hope you'll come play with us at CSI. We've got a bunch of awesome sponsors donating prizes and gift certificates.

Autumn Joy | Bramble Fox

I'm up on the Bramble Fox blog today! Here's my post:

Hey, everyone! Fall is in full swing here in the United States, and the title pieces from the November Fox Box are perfect for documenting all those wonderful autumn outings. I created this 8 x 8 page for a friend's trip to the pumpkin patch with her twins.

I used Carta Bella's lovely Fall Market collection to make my layout. I roughed up the edges of my paper and tilted it to give the feel of the bouncy hayride.

How beautiful is the script font on the "joy" Perspextive title piece?

The wreath on this layout is a free cut file from Paper Issues that I backed with some of the patterned papers in Fall Market collection along with other papers from my stash. Sometimes I leave the vinyl coating on the Perspextives, like I did here, which makes the color more muted to go with the papers I used.

I just love these sweet Bramble Fox heart Perspextives! They're perfect for adding to clusters of embellishments.

I hope I've given you some inspiration for using the beautiful Bramble Fox Perspextives. We love seeing what you do with the products, so please be sure to share your work in our Facebook group.

Winter Wear | Bramble Fox

I'm so in love with the translucent Perspextives Bramble Fox has made for their winter collections!

The gorgeous "winter" title piece is from the November Fox Box. If you've been wanting to try Perspextives, the Fox Box is a great option, as you get 3 packs each month, plus exclusive designs.

Here's a look at what's in the November Fox Box:

I thought the Freezin' Season collection would be perfect for this layout. The tone of the colors work nicely with the translucent Perspextives, and the designs in the papers have the perfect touch of whimsy and playfulness I was going for.

How gorgeous are these translucent snowflakes from the Snowflakes and Snowballs pack--you get pink, white and blue snowflakes.

You'll definitely want to grab some of these beautiful pieces for all the winter pictures you'll be taking over the next few months!

Love | Bramble Fox DT layout + CSI Case File No. 297

It was my turn to share a layout on Bramble Fox's Instagram the other day, and I decided I'd use their beautiful products to make my layout for our first October challenge CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration.

Here are the Case File and clues for this challenge. From the evidence clues, I chose stripes, plus signs, woodland animals, flowers, leaves, crown, woodgrain, autumn themed elements. I also went with the basic color scheme and added some gold.

Here are some details. How gorgeous is this rose gold Perspextive? It's called Love. I decided to see if I had any Felicity Jane kits that matched the colors, and this one called Autumn was pretty close. The papers, flowers, leaves, and plus signs are from the kit. The rest came from my stash.

The lovely little crown from the Bramble Fox Glitzy and Glamour pack was just perfect to fit on this sweet little deer's head.

The jeweled heart is also from the Glitzy and Glam pack. That frame is a stamp I recently got, and the clip, pearls, and brown label are all from my stash.

If you haven't yet used the Bramble Fox Perspextives, why not give them a try by subscribing to their Fox Box, which gives you an assortment each month, including some exclusive pieces. While you're over at Bramble Fox perusing the beautiful stuff in the shop, be sure to check out all the new winter/Christmas pieces!

And I do hope you'll play along at CSI. Look at all the generous sponsors who are donating prizes this month:
